WordPress → Shopify

Take your WordPress site’s content, traffic and customers to Shopify — cleanly.

WordPress sites selling through WooCommerce, a payment plugin or an external cart often outgrow the maintenance burden. We move the store and the content to Shopify, keep the blog’s search traffic through careful redirects, and leave you with one platform to run instead of a stack of plugins.

Why merchants move

If this sounds familiar.

  • Plugin updates, hosting and security take more time than selling does.
  • Checkout and payments were bolted on and convert poorly.
  • The blog earns real traffic and you are afraid of losing it.
  • Product data is inconsistent because it was entered by hand over years.

What moves

Every entity, how it moves, and the risk.

The honest version — including the things that cannot move on any platform, and what we do about them.

The blog is the asset

Years of WordPress posts are often the biggest source of organic traffic a store has. The migration plan treats them accordingly: every permalink is inventoried and redirected, metadata is carried over, internal links are rewritten, and the structure is planned so the content keeps earning on Shopify.

From plugins to platform

Most of what WordPress needs plugins for — checkout, payments, shipping, taxes, reviews, forms — is built into Shopify or available as a supported app. Part of the audit is mapping each plugin so nothing is forgotten and nothing unnecessary is rebuilt.

Sometimes the answer is both

When a content site sells a small catalogue, keeping WordPress for content and adding Shopify for commerce can be the better architecture. We will tell you if that is your case.

FAQ

Migration questions.

Still unsure? Ask us directly — one human reply, no sales sequence.

Can we keep the blog on WordPress?

Yes, if that is the right call — some sites keep WordPress for content and use Shopify for the store on a subdomain or via Buy Buttons. We will recommend based on how much your content earns and who edits it.

Will our blog posts lose their rankings?

Not if every permalink is redirected and metadata is carried over, which our process does. We monitor Search Console daily after cutover.

What happens to our WordPress plugins?

Each one is mapped to a Shopify app, a built-in feature, or an integration we build. Most plugin functionality is native on Shopify.

Do we need to keep paying for WordPress hosting?

Only until cutover is verified. After that the WordPress site can be archived.
