Replace the spreadsheet everyone is afraid to touch.

Every operations team has a process held together by a spreadsheet, a shared inbox and one person’s memory. An internal tool replaces it with a screen built exactly for the job — the fields that matter, the rules enforced, the data flowing to and from your other systems.

  • Google Workspace

If this sounds familiar

  • Orders are copied by hand into a label or shipping tool every day.
  • Stock counts, reorder points and supplier lists live in a spreadsheet.
  • Requests and approvals happen over email with no record.
  • The tool you need almost exists, and the gap costs hours a week.

What changes

  • A purpose-built tool for the process, used by the whole team.
  • Data pulled from and pushed to Shopify, your CRM, accounting and carriers.
  • Rules enforced in the tool instead of in someone’s head.
  • Hosted in your cloud, documented, and yours.

Built for the job, not for everyone

Off-the-shelf tools are designed for the average business. An internal tool is designed for yours: the exact fields, the exact rules, the exact printer. That specificity is why teams adopt it on day one and why it saves hours instead of minutes.

Connected to what you already run

The tool reads orders from Shopify, writes to your CRM, posts invoices to accounting and books labels with your carrier. Nobody retypes anything, and the tool becomes the place where the process is actually done.

Small, fast, documented

Most internal tools take a few weeks, cost a few dollars a month to host and come with a runbook. They are among the highest-return things we build.

How it works

Six steps, one team, measured on outcomes.

Typical timeline: 2–6 weeks. Progress lands in your channel every week.

  1. 01

    Discover

A 30-minute review of your stack, your numbers and what is manual today. You get a written scope — not a pitch.

  2. 02

    Architect

Systems designed before code: data flow, integrations, where the human gates sit, and what we will measure.

  3. 03

    Build

Short sprints in your repositories and accounts. Typed, versioned, reviewable — progress lands in your channel.

  4. 04

    Test

Shadow runs, edge cases and load. Every pipeline proves itself against real data before cutover.

  5. 05

    Launch

Deployed behind CI with monitoring on. A runbook and a recorded handover ship with it.

  6. 06

    Improve

30 days of fixes included, then an optional retainer — one prioritised queue across every service.

FAQ

Internal Business Tools — questions.

Still unsure? Ask us directly — one human reply, no sales sequence.

Custom code or a low-code tool?

Low-code (Airtable, Retool, Google Sheets with scripts) when the process is simple and the data is small — we will set that up if it is the right answer. Custom when the tool needs rules, integrations, printing, volume or a real user interface.

Can it print labels?

Yes. Thermal, sheet and peel-off label formats, printed from the browser or sent directly to networked printers, with carrier label integration where needed.

Where does it run?

In your cloud account (Cloudflare, AWS or Google Cloud) or on a small managed server. Costs are usually a few dollars a month.

What if the process changes?

The tool is documented and built to be changed. Most clients keep a small retainer for adjustments; others take it in-house — either works.
