Refund Policy

How refunds work for services, ready-to-use workflows, Shopify apps and software subscriptions.

Last updated September 9, 2026

We would rather fix a problem than argue about a refund. This page explains what applies to each thing we sell. Questions or requests: [email protected].

Project services

Projects are quoted as a fixed price for a written scope, usually with a deposit and milestone payments. Deposits secure the schedule and cover discovery and planning work, and are non-refundable once that work has started. If you cancel a project, you pay for work completed to that date and we hand over everything in progress; any prepaid amount beyond that is refunded. If we cannot deliver the agreed scope, you are refunded for the undelivered portion.

Retainers

Retainers are billed monthly in advance and can be cancelled with 30 days’ written notice. The notice month is worked and billed; nothing is charged after it.

Ready-to-use workflows

Workflows are priced per output — per article, per product, per image or video — as a monthly subscription or a one-time batch.

  • First batch. If the first batch does not match the agreed brief, we revise it. If it still does not, you are refunded for that batch.
  • Delivered outputs that you have approved and published are not refundable.
  • Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time before the next billing date; the current period’s remaining outputs are still delivered.
  • Prepaid credits for pay-per-output plans remain valid for 12 months and are refundable, less credits used, within 30 days of purchase.

Shopify apps

Our Shopify apps are billed through Shopify’s app billing on the plan you choose, with a free plan or trial where listed. Uninstalling the app ends the subscription at the end of the current billing period. If an app has not worked as described and support could not resolve it, contact us within 30 days of the charge and we will refund the most recent monthly charge through Shopify.

Software subscriptions and credits

Our software products (such as BlogMatic, currently in development) sell credit-based plans. Unused credits stay in your account for the period stated in the plan. Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time and are not billed again. Credits already consumed are not refundable; unused credits on a plan cancelled within 14 days of first purchase are refunded on request.

How to request a refund

Email [email protected] with the order or invoice reference and what went wrong. We reply within one business day and process approved refunds to the original payment method within 10 business days.
